Before CSW: Please sign up by Jan 25 at Sign up to help with pancake breakfast if your child in grades 4-8 wants to help serve at the pancake breakfast on Sunday, Jan. 29.
Please complete your pizza lunch form (even if not ordering) by Wednesday, January 17.
Friday, January 26
In anticipation of CSW and to raise money for our sister school in Guatemala, there will be a special “$1.00 Dress Down” Day today. Students may bring $1.00 (or more) for the students in San Ildefonso. Clothing should follow the guidelines for dress-down days. Students may wear their school uniform if they choose not to participate.
Saturday, January 27 - Sunday, January 28:
Students are asked to wear their school uniforms to Mass this weekend.
Show your school pride and gratitude to all our parishioners.
Attend the Knights of Columbus pancake breakfast Sunday morning.
The Awesome Angels children’s choir will sing at the 9:00 Mass.
Monday, January 29:
Please send a rosary with your child. All teachers, staff and students will gather
in the church to pray together.
Show your SVdP school pride! Students are asked to wear a shirt of the
following color: White (if in homeroom ending in 1), blue (homeroom ending
in 2), or red (homeroom ending in 3). Students may dress down on the
bottom (following dress-down guidelines).
Grade-level classrooms will compete against each other in fun competitions
(certain grade levels will do this on other days, due to space availability).
Grades 4-8 will attend the school spelling bee.
Tuesday, January 30:
All-School Mass at 8:15 a.m.
Wear a shirt in your assigned color. Students may dress down on the bottom.
Students in grades 4-8 will attend an internet safety assembly.
Wednesday, January 31:
PIZZA LUNCH! All parents are welcome to join us. Orders due Wed., Jan. 17.
Teacher Switch Day! Teachers will switch classrooms for a period and help
students from other grade levels to create valentines or write letters for the
San Ildefonso students and residents of local nursing homes.

Thursday, February 1:
Grade 8 students will join other eighth graders from the city as Archbishop
Lucas celebrates CSW Mass at St. Cecilia’s.
Students will learn about vocations.
Dress down day – “To Be Determined!” The anticipation builds!
Please follow the school guidelines for apparel on dress down-days.
Friday, February 2:
12:00 dismissal
Crazy hair and sock day! Uniform shorts may be worn.
Students will gather in the gym for a friendly competition.
Throughout the week: Get Up & Move!
Our school service project for the week will focus on praying and collecting money for the students and staff at our sister school, San Ildefonso, in Juejuetenango, Guatemala. Students will also write letters or create valentines for the students in Guatemala and residents in local nursing homes.
