April 2026 Newsletter

Dear Parents,

This weekend we begin Holy Week. This sacred week begins with Palm Sunday and concludes on Easter Sunday. During this time may your homes be filled with reflection, peace, and the hope of Christ's love. I pray that as a family you can take time to pause amidst the busyness of your lives to center your hearts on the sacrifice and victory of Jesus. Wishing you and your children a blessed and meaningful Holy Week.

This time of year also gives us a little bit of Spring Fever. I am certainly included in experiencing Spring Fever! As the days get longer and we experience more daylight, school can take a backseat. It is very important that the students get adequate rest, time outside, and continued emphasis on school. Let's finish the 4th quarter strong!

I would also like to wish everyone a wonderful Easter. As I reflect on the message of Easter, I think of the unconditional love that Jesus gives to all of us. It reminds me of everything my own parents did for me and my siblings. Just as the story of Jesus teaches us unconditional love, your daily commitment to your children mirrors the steadfast love and guidance you give to your children. Thank you for all you give to them and all of us at SVdP!

May this Easter fill your home with peace, your hearts with hope, and your family with renewed strength for the season ahead. May you find joy in simple moments, laughter around the table, and gratitude for the blessing of one another.

Wishing you a season of fresh starts, growing faith, and abundant love.

Barbara Marchese
