Make sure to take care of yourself this semester! If you are under the weather, don't forget that Student Health and Wellness is close to the Volker campus and offers a variety of health services at little-to-no-cost!

A group of med students, who also happen to be car enthusiasts, organized a parade of exotic cars in collaboration with the police and fire departments. Together, they helped deliver nearly $11,000 of toys and gifts to Children's Mercy.

Thinking of getting your graduate degree? The School of Graduate Studies is here to help! Join them for a Grad Fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15 on the second floor of the Student Union. In addition to information about UMKC graduate programs, there will be games, prizes and a chance for $1,000 toward a graduate degree

FAFSA and Competitive Scholarships deadline: The deadline to submit FAFSA applications is February 1 and most applications for competitive scholarships are due on March 1.

Roo Groups: Getting involved with student organizations is another way to take your UMKC experience to the next level!

Financial Wellness Center: Need help with personal finances? The Financial Wellness Center aims to reduce the stress of student finances with education and coaching.

Counseling Services: Counseling Services is open to students, faculty and staff to promote student success and psychological wellbeing across campus.

Career Fair Prep: Need some help preparing for upcoming career fairs? Register now to take part in prep workshops on January 31 and February 9.

Make48: From March 31 to April 2, UMKC will host the Make48 2023 Nationals competition featuring teams from across the country to see who will take home the top prize. Organizers are looking for volunteers to help out throughout the event.

DECA: The annual DECA State Career Development Conference takes place on Monday, March 13 at Crown Center in Downtown Kansas City. Come be a volunteer judge! Over 2,000 talented high school students will be competing and they all qualified from their local district competition. Judges' orientation and breakfast starts at 9 a.m. with the role-play events lasting until approximately 3 p.m. Volunteers must fill out the form by January 31.
