Life Span Institute Connections |
Hello! I hope you had a relaxing break. As you look ahead to the start of the spring semester, plan to join colleagues for our annual one-day, in-person event, the Life Span Institute Collaboratory, to be held Thursday, Jan. 15 at the Jayhawk Welcome Center.
A cross between a retreat and a social activity, the Collaboratory offers opportunities to connect with fellow researchers, staff and graduate students from across Life Span Institute centers, associated research labs, and the LSI Central Office. This year's theme, "Raise the Volume," refers to each person's role in sharing the impact of the work we do -— and we'll focus on exploring methods for doing so. The day includes presentations, a panel discussion and activities. It closes with a social reception in the Pub at the Welcome Center.
If you can't find your individual invitation to the Collaboratory in your post-holidays inbox, please reach out to Alyssa Cool for a new registration link. You must register by Wednesday morning, January 7 so that we provide accurate totals to the venue and to Macelli's Catering.
Watch this short preview video (also linked below) to see a glimpse of past Collaboratory events; we have offered the Life Span Institute Collaboratory almost annually since January 2019.
Thank you and see you next week! -Jen
