Dear Readers,
I hope you had a wonderful fall break!
Thank you for checking out this month’s issue of the GCCI Connect! As you may have noticed, this month, we’ve decided to embrace a brighter theme. We find that to have a collaborative mindset means one needs to be optimistic, so we’re hoping that this new format will help achieve that feeling. We also wanted to get a little more personal, so we’re including the very text you’re now reading – a short word from the editor.
This month, we’re bringing you two stories that are incredibly important to the GCCI. The first is an introduction to the beating heart of the GCCI, our student workers. The second takes a look at a new course regarding policy and history in York County, taught by Dr. Corey Brooks and funded by a GCCI grant!
Also, be sure to check out our events, where you can register for the GCCI’s live podcast and networking event on the YCP campus on October 22!
Best regards,
Thomas Morehead '28, Writing
Editor & Writer
