Francis Ford Coppola’s breakthrough 1966 film YOU’RE A BIG BOY NOW is a French New Wave-inspired comedy about a 19-year-old virgin (Peter Kastner), living in a NYC boarding house, who tries to shake his over-protective parents and make it with a go-go dancer (Elizabeth Hartman). The great supporting cast includes Geraldine Page, Rip Torn, Julie Harris, and Karen Black, and the soundtrack includes songs by the Lovin’ Spoonful. It's the first film in our new series "Francis Ford Coppola: Adolescence Now." See it in a 4K DCP Saturday at 5:00 pm or Sunday at 8:15 pm.

John Lennon, Yoko Ono, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, the Doors, Alice Cooper, and other legendary musicians performed before 20,000 fans at the Toronto Rock and Roll Revival music festival in September, 1969. Ron Chapman's new film REVIVAL69: THE CONCERT THAT ROCKED THE WORLD is a behind-the-scenes look at that one-day concert that has been called "the second most important event in rock and roll history." Culminating in John Lennon's first public performance with the Plastic Ono Band, the festival almost didn’t happen. Things go swimmingly for him—until they don’t. Goodfellas co-screenwriter Nicholas Pileggi co-wrote the screenplay, adapting his nonfiction book. Don Rickles co-stars. Casino will show from a 4K DCP (not a 35mm print, as promised in our print calendar) Saturday at 7:00 pm. Special admission is $15; members, CIA/CSU I.D. holders, age 25 & under $12.
