We are rain or shine every Saturday 9a-1p & Sunday 10a-2p!
From juicy burgers to charred veggies, the flavors of summer taste even better with a little added smokiness from the grill. For all of this season's backyard barbecues and cookouts, you'll find the freshest locally raised beef, pork, chicken, duck, and more at the farmers' market. We are proud to operate producer-only farmers' markets, which means that our vendors are only permitted to sell products that they grow or produce themselves. Our shoppers can trust that the items they are purchasing came from within a 150 mile radius of our markets, and that our vendors follow our sustainability guidelines
In following these guidelines, ranchers at Texas Farmers' Markets employ a pasture-based system of rotational grazing, provide supplemental feed that is organic and non-GMO or pesticide free when financially and logistically possible, and maximize best use of products approved for use on pasture land. The quality is evident in every bite! Another great reason to shop at the market is that you're often purchasing your meant straight from the rancher who raised it, so you can get to know them and their practices - how cool is that?
Read on for a list of ranchers at our two market locations and stock up this weekend ahead of the holiday. Don't forget to toss some veggies on the grill as well, because the flavors of fresh eggplant, zucchini, peppers, onions, squash and more truly shine with minimal seasoning and a bit of chargrilled flavor. Cheers to Summer!

MARKET RECIPE: HONEY GARLIC STRINGBEANS

You've likely seen these beautiful purple long beans around the market as of late! They are an Asian variety of green beans, notable for their reddish purple hue and how long they grow. They can be cut into smaller pieces and cooked much like you would regular green beans - click the link below for a recipe suggestion featuring fresh garlic (also in season right now!) from our Mueller Market Chef, Julia.
