Seniors: Complete the First Destination Survey and receive a Josh & John’s gift card

Whether you’ve already lined up your “first destination” after graduation, or still exploring, please take five minutes to complete the First Destination Survey — your input will help CC support current and future students as they navigate their career journeys. Sharing your outcome (including salary if you’ve secured employment) is 100% anonymous and reported only in aggregate.

Not sure what’s next for you? No problem! You can select “still searching” in the survey. Your response matters, even if your plans aren’t finalized. And you can always update your survey response later! Curious where other recent CC graduates have gone? See results from previous First Destination Surveys.

Need Career Support? It’s not too late! If you’re feeling behind or unsure, you’re not alone—and we’re here to help. Meet with a career consultant (schedule an appointment via Handshake), visit our office, or explore our online resources.

Get Ready to Ditch the Dumpster

Are you about to MOVE OUT? You'll want to know about Ditch the Dumpster! Ditch the Dumpster is an annual program that encourages students to donate their gently used items instead of throwing them away during move out. By donating or recycling your items, you can help reduce waste and actively engage in sustainability practices on campus.

Ditch the Dumpster starts on Friday, May 9 at noon. There are four collection sites where you can drop off your donations, and they're accessible 24/7 until the program ends. The collection sites are:

  • Mathias Lobby
  • Loomis Lounge
  • South Hall Lobby
  • Hybl Community Center

Ditch the Dumpster for the Big 3 will end on Thursday, May 15, end of day.

Ditch the Dumpster for Hybl will end on Monday, May 19, end of day.

Be sure to check out the full list of accepted items on the program webpage to make sure your donation is eligible. Remember, items should be gently used - if they're ripped, stained, not working, or in poor condition, either re-purpose them or toss them in the landfill. Some of the items that we are accepting include:

  • Gently Used Clothing
  • Hangers
  • Unopened Food
  • Outdoor Gear
  • Small Household / Dorm Items

To learn more about when to donate, what to donate, and where to donate, visit the Ditch the Dumpster website. Get involved in sustainability efforts on campus by joining your fellow students in Ditch the Dumpster. For any questions about Ditch the Dumpster, please email sustainability@coloradocollege.edu.
