Launched: Updated Student Profile in Banner

As part of Colorado College’s ongoing transition to Banner 9, we are introducing an updated Student Profile experience.

Earlier this year, Banner 9 brought a new look and improved experience to Time Sheets and Leave Reports. The Student Profile is the next step in the transition and the first of several planned updates to student-facing Banner services.

Beginning Oct. 5, students will see the new Student Profile when accessing their information in Banner.

The updated Student Profile provides a more modern, streamlined, and mobile-friendly experience while continuing to provide access to the student and academic information students use today.

What is changing?

The biggest change is where some information is located—not what students can do.

Several items that were previously available through separate Banner menus are now organized within Student Profile, giving students one place to find commonly used academic and personal information.

Students will be able to use Student Profile to:

    • View personal and contact information
    • Review academic program, major, minor, and concentration information
    • View advisor information
    • Review student status and class level
    • See registered courses, schedules, and grades
    • Check holds and important information
    • View their academic transcript
    • Review earned units and GPA information
    • Access Add/Drop
    • Access Stellic for degree progress
    • Search the class schedule and course catalog

Students may notice and updated look and layout, and some menu locations and navigation paths will be different.

How do I access Student Profile?

Students will access Student Profile from a new link on the existing Self Service Banner page.

Students will continue to use their existing CC credentials to access Banner.

No action is required from students before the transition.

What is not changing?

Students will continue to have access to the same core information and student services.

    • Login credentials remain the same.
    • Student records and information remain in Banner.
    • Preregistration will not change.
    • Other Banner student services and functions will remain available in their current locations unless otherwise communicated.

This initial rollout is focused specifically on Student Profile rather than a broader redesign of the Sign into CC Experience

Additional Banner 9 Student features will be introduced as they are tested, approved, and ready for release. Students will be notified before any changes take effect.
