AWAY HOME: A work in development
|
We are looking for singers who are willing to move, and movers who are willing to sing.
When Daisy loses her beloved toy, a writer composes fictional letters of the doll's adventures. Through music, sweet imaginings, and rollicking escapades, AWAY HOME encourages us to heal our broken hearts and transform.
AWAY HOME is a musical in development written by local NC theater-makers, Tamara Kissane and Matthew Hager. As part of the development process, participants will contribute to the growth of this piece by rehearsing the current draft of the script, hashing out new edits, and contributing their ideas and reactions. If you've ever been curious about 'how the sausage is made' during the creation of original art, then this is for you.
