Behind the broadcast: ESPN College GameDay

"The Division of Administration came together to ensure a successful College GameDay and game experience," said David ter Kuile, COO for the Division of Administration and associate vice chancellor for Auxiliary Services.

"Parking went above and beyond to support ESPN and our community; Public Safety and Emergency Management kept everyone safe and coordinated; Card Services, Printing and Transportation ensured seamless logistics; and Campus Dining opened early and stayed late to serve students and guests. It was an outstanding team effort that showcased Vanderbilt at its best."

Excellence Awards

The Division of Administration is proud to celebrate the well-earned recognition of four Campus Dining staff with 2025 Excellence Awards. The Campus Dining Training Team, Chef Doug Best, Chef Kriska Nagle and Emily Svennevik, registered dietitian, was recognized with the Innovation Excellence Award; James Knight was recognized with the Professional Excellence Award.

A quick round of applause

Campus Dining hosted the Menus of Change University Research Collaborative Annual Meeting in mid-October. A prestigious honor, the unit welcomed global leaders in campus dining, culinary innovation and sustainability for a multi-day exchange of ideas centered on growth. Keep an eye out on the Campus Dining website and Instagram for a full recap.
The Dialogue Vanderbilt team collaborated with Vanderbilt leadership and peer institutions to launch a shared effort to develop innovative models for strengthening constructive dialogue, open inquiry and free expression in higher education. The Equal Access Office partnered with the Association for Student Conduct Administration to host the 2025 Sexual Misconduct Institute in mid-October. ASCA, the leading professional association for student conduct administrators, advances integrity, accountability and community across higher education.
