request for senior design projects |
The Mechanical Engineering curriculum immerses students in hands-on, learn-by-doing projects, which culminates in the hallmark Senior Design experience.
Students engage in human-centered problem-solving as they identify, design, and prototype solutions to real- world problems. These solutions are evaluated for their societal impact—with a focus on economics, safety, reliability, and ethics.
What Students Gain:
|
- Design Analysis & Prototyping
- Technical Communication
- Project Management
|
Projects are team-based and mentored by industry partners, who provide critical guidance and evaluate performance throughout the six-month design cycle.
