As we reach the middle of November, your students are preparing for finals and getting ready to come home for Thanksgiving break. This time of year often brings excitement, but it can also bring stress as students reflect on their semester, manage academic pressures and readjust to being home. You may find that your student has grown in unexpected ways since August, and conversations about their experiences, both positive and challenging, can help them feel supported and understood.
Encourage them to talk through what’s feeling difficult, remind them of the resources available at OHIO, and help them break challenges into manageable steps. You remain an important partner in your student’s success, and we’re grateful for all you do.
