Webinar: Take control of your energy bills

Is your home icy cold in winter and are your energy bills sky high?

Join us for a warm cuppa and a FREE session on reducing your energy costs. We'll give you some hot tips on how to create a cozy winter home, without emptying your wallet.

What's going on with the electricity grid?Community drop-in sessions

Wangaratta | Tuesday 11 June, 3pm to 5pm
Shepparton | Wednesday 12 June, 3pm to 5pm

At the drop-in sessions you can speak with VicGrid representatives about the draft Renewable Energy Zone Community Benefits Plan and the results of the Renewable Energy Planning Survey.

You can drop by anytime during the event. Everyone is welcome and there is no need to register.

Delivered by the Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (VACCHO), cultural safety is about providing an environment that considers and respects the cultural identity, values and norms of the people attending your activities.

Congratulations Beechworth!

In early May, the 2024 National Tidy Town Awards were announced in Western Australia. Beechworth, Victoria was named the Keep Australia Beautiful National Tidy Town winner!

Olivia Lynch, CEO of Keep Australia Beautiful National Association, expressed her admiration for Beechworth, stating, "Beechworth epitomises the transformative power of community-driven environmental endeavours. The relentless dedication and perseverance exhibited by these communities serve as a beacon of inspiration.
