NASHVILLE, Tenn.-- Rising country music entertainer Hayden Haddock has announced the release of his newest single, "Hell Or High Whiskey,"* a nostalgic and familiar jukebox jam that embodies the spirit and sound of classic country singers.

Written by Haddock alongside Matt Willis, Frank Maroney and Liz Hengber, and produced by Drew Hall (Rosewood Studios - Tyler, TX), the forlorn honkytonk tune is set for a November 21, 2025 release via all major digital retail and streaming platforms under the Good Company Entertainment imprint. (Presale/Pre-save November 17, 2025; Distribution by CmdShft.)

Reminiscent of 90s classic country production, instrumentation takes a point from George Strait's "Cowboy Rides Away" and Shenandoah's "Two Dozen Roses." The Texan's modern-day style, paired with rich instrumentation and bona fide vocals, serves as a revival of a golden era that defined a generation of trendsetters and hitmakers.

The melancholy opening instrumentation, juxtaposed with the first few lines and crooning vocals, brings the theme of heartbreak to the fore. Drowning a long "goodbye" in a late-night dive, the melody marries the bar stool storyline to perfection. Haddock portrays a sorrowful determination to chase the pain away, "killing lonely under neon blue," one pour at a time.

"Come hell or high whiskey, I'm parking these boots
In a roadside dive bar, I'm drowning the truth
I'm killing this lonely in the neon blue
Come hell or high whiskey
I'm gettin' over you"

“From a quick glance of the song title, listeners might think ‘Hell Or High Whiskey’ is just another ‘tears in my beer,’ shot glass, whiskey song," said Hayden Haddock. "Matt, Liz, Frank and I wanted to take a deeper dive into a 'break-up' song and the determination to put the past behind, and move on. I think many listeners will relate and have an appreciation for the honest story."

Boasting more than 12.3 million streams to date, Hayden’s recordings have been spotlighted on multiple playlists, including “Texas Music Now” and “Texas Music Rewind” (Spotify), “Don’t Mess With Texas” (Apple Music) and “Texas Forever” (Amazon Music). Haddock’s newest recording carries forward the energy and momentum of his May 2025 single, “Keep Me Up," weaving a mix of neo-traditional country sounds and modern edge that has become his signature. The back-to-back 2025 releases ("Keep Me Up" and "Hell Or High Whiskey") strengthen his status as one of country music’s most compelling up-and-comers and offer a taste of what's to come from Hayden Haddock in 2026.
