(Nashville, Tennessee — August 22, 2025) Country artist Ansel Brown is back with a powerful new song, “We Make America Run.” Now available across all digital platforms (here), “We Make America Run” is a driving tribute to the working-class men and women who are the heart of the nation. The track captures Brown’s signature blend of grit, heart, and all-American pride.
Produced by Cliff Downs, “We Make America Run” is a high-octane anthem honoring the hardworking men and women who keep this country moving. It’s a powerful tribute to the unsung heroes of everyday America—truckers, coal miners, farmers, factory workers, soldiers, teachers, and more. From assembly lines in Detroit to dusty fields at sunrise, the song offers a heartfelt salute to those who rise early, work late, and put in the sweat to keep our nation strong. With pride in every lyric and a chorus that hits like a steel-toed boot, “We Make America Run” stands as a blue-collar rallying cry for the backbone of this country.
"‘We Make America Run’ is more than a song to me. It’s a heartbeat. Every time I sing it, I’m thinking about the trucker hauling through the night, the farmer up before dawn, the teacher shaping young minds, and the soldier standing watch. These are the men and women who put food on our tables, keep our shelves stocked, and make sure our way of life keeps moving forward. I sing it from the depths of my soul because I’ve seen firsthand the pride and sacrifice it takes to live that life, and they deserve an anthem that honors them.” — Ansel Brown
With a voice steeped in soul and grit and lyrics drawn from a life fully lived, Ansel Brown’s music resonates with authenticity. Raised in a Navy family and born in Greenville, South Carolina, Brown’s early life was shaped by discipline, movement, and the healing power of music. From singing in the Hawaiian Children’s Choir to overcoming personal battles and ultimately earning a college degree with honors, his story is defined by resilience and an unshakable belief in second chances.
Ansel’s professional music career took off in the mid-2000s, landing him the MusicRow Discovery Award and a spot on the CMA “Who New to Watch” list with the release of You’re Just Smoke and its breakout single “Mine’s Bigger.” But just as his star began to rise, life interrupted: a battle with chronic A-Fib, a difficult divorce, and the heartbreak of supporting a son through a deeply challenging season. Through it all, Ansel found strength in faith, family, and songwriting.
Beyond music, Ansel has built a multi-dimensional life. He invented one of the world’s first sifting litter boxes, founded a creative agency (nvisionative), and collaborated with NASA to write and perform at the final Space Shuttle events. He’s acted in indie films, written music for youth football programs, and championed veterans, children's hospitals, and faith-based causes. He also creates content with his daughter, Sophia, on their YouTube channel, Seriously Sophia, and shares life with his wife, a Colombian-born ER CNA.
