9/11 Day of Service Volunteer Registration

In remembrance of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, UCO observes the 9/11 National Day of Service as an Oklahoma Standard Day of Service. UCO faculty, staff and students can sign up to cook dinner for firefighters at one of the five Edmond fire stations from 4:30-7:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 11. Participants will receive three hours of service for this event.

Registration is open on UCORE through Sept. 5.

Sign Up for 'Lunch with Lamb'

UCO President Todd G. Lamb will host “Lunch with Lamb” throughout the fall 2025 semester. Once a month, President Lamb will host a small group of students in Ayers Kitchen to connect directly with and hear their thoughts, ideas and concerns.
Space is limited. Those interested can sign up online.

Generative AI is Now Live at UCO

UCO faculty, staff and students now have access to powerful generative AI tools, including Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot, through their UCO accounts. Students are reminded to always check with their professor and read the course syllabi before using AI for course assignments.

Interest Form for Students with Children

The UCO Office of Community Engagement is looking to increase communication and connect with UCO students who have children in an effort to be a better provider of community and campus resources, and provide events focused on supporting them through their college experience.

Those interested in receiving updates about community and campus resources, events and plans made for student-parents are encouraged to complete the Student-Parent Interest Form on UCORE.

Robbie Rea Named Head Baseball Coach

UCO's announced Robbie Rea as the new Bronchos head baseball coach.

Rea has spent three seasons at Central guiding the pitching staff. The Bronchos have won 105 games since Rea joined the staff and qualified for the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship in each of the past two seasons.

UCO went 32-19 in Rea's first season as an assistant coach and 37-16 in 2024. Rea and the Bronchos went 36-17 in spring 2025 and won the MIAA postseason championship for the first time since joining the league.
