December 15 - Thanking ALL of our Volunteer teachers and Childcare staff - If your child would like to make cards, that would be GREAT!

December 15 - Caroling and dinner are held in the late afternoon for families. Details at the bottom.
Service Opportunities for Children and Families

Beginning November 13, help make beds for WPC's Room In The Inn guests!
Are you trying to teach your kid to make their bed? Want an easy way to serve at WPC this Fall/Winter? Looking for an excuse to hang out with another family or two for an hour or so on a Wednesday? If you've been looking for an easy way to serve with your family, here's your sign. WPC's Young Families Ministry is sponsoring the Bedmaking team for Room In The Inn this Fall/Winter. We are looking for folks/families to sign up to come to church on a Wednesday between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to make up 14 beds so that they are ready for our RITI visitors that evening. Click here to see available dates and sign up. Bring your kids and let them "help" prepare our space to be welcoming and ready! Email Ashley with questions. 

Volunteer as a Family to Usher on Sunday Mornings at either service
Virginia Reynolds lines all this up. Families can help hand out bulletins, take the offering, and greet folks as they arrive. Call Virginia for some details: 615-417-4608.

Church members are invited to apply to Westminster School for Young Children early and are offered priority admission status.
Applications will be available to all on December 11, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. If you would like to receive the link, please email Assistant Director, Theresa Yarber, at tyarber@wsycnashville.org and she will be happy to assist you.

Christmas Caroling in the Neighborhood
Sunday, December 15 at 5:00 p.m.

Caroling with the Westminster Community is back! Please join us on Sunday, December 15 at 5 p.m. at the North Entrance (facing the big playground) to carol in the Westminster neighborhood!

Members of our choir will keep us in tune and we'll bring Christmas cheer to our church neighbors. This event is for all ages and includes some fun Santa and glow-in-the-dark accessories to keep us in the spirit! 

After caroling, join us in Fellowship Hall for dinner.  During dinner, kids can participate in making holiday cards that we will bring to Alive Hospice and other groups around Nashville. Please feel free to bring and make cards in advance. We hope to see you there!

There will also be an UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER CONTEST. Children will be the judges.
