I'm excited to share with you news that has been a long time in the making. Professor Mark Borsuk has long worked to take models of risk and valuation from the economic sector and apply them to environmental policy. Now, through a new research initiative funded by Duke Engineering, he's using Duke's convening power to evolve how these industries assess and price risk, allocate capital, offer financial protection and influence risk-related behavior. 

RESILE is one of many moving pieces within Duke's Climate Commitment, and I hope you will join us in searching out overlooked avenues toward meeting the challenge of our generation.
