Martin Art Gallery Director Jessica Ambler was named Member of the Month for January 2024 by the Association of Academic Museums and Galleries. She was also invited to be the Juror for the Adams County Arts Council's Annual Juried Art Exhibition (June 1–21), celebrating the ACAC's 30th year as an institution.
Media & Communication/Film Studies double major Haley Hnatuk '20 published a journal article, “The Paradox of Performing Exhaustion: Emotional Labour in YouTube Burn-Out Vlogs,” in SonicScope (based on an independent study). Read more

Truman Koehler Professor of Mathematics Linda McGuire co-organized the invited paper session EvenQuads Live and in person: the honorees and the games at the Joint Mathematics Meetings in San Francisco. She also presented the paper Honoring the past: Historical women of the EvenQuads project and co-facilitated an active-learning workshop about the EvenQuads games. She also published the paper Finding your mathematical roots: Inclusion and identity development in mathematics in the Journal of Humanistic Mathematics, Volume 14, Issue 1, January 2024 and the article It adds up: The mathematics of social justice and a diverse STEM community in the AAC&U's Liberal Education (Volume 110, No. 1, Winter 2024).
