2025 Freshman Convocation Today

UCO President Todd G. Lamb and First Lady Monica Lamb invite faculty and staff to attend Freshman Convocation and give a huge Broncho welcome to our incoming freshmen. Freshman Convocation will be at 3 p.m., today, Aug. 15, in Hamilton Field House, followed by a picnic in the Nigh University Center, Grand Ballroom. Freshman Convocation is intended to give incoming freshmen and their families an opportunity to interact with the Broncho community.  

For those unable to attend, the UCO Office of Information Technology will livestream convocation on UCO On Demand. The live webcast will begin 15-20 minutes before the event.

UCO President Todd G. Lamb: University Ready for Renewed Town-and-Gown Alliance with Edmond

UCO President Todd G. Lamb went to the Edmond City Council to personally deliver UCO's position on the city's University District Plan, a long-term effort to connect downtown and the campus with a "Campus Corner"-style development.

"The university is in full support. We think the time has come," Lamb said before the council voted unanimously Monday, Aug. 11, to approve the plan recommended July 22 by the Edmond Planning Commission.

Central Pantry Fall Volunteer Application Open

The application to be a UCO Central Pantry volunteer for the fall 2025 semester is open until 5 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 20. Shifts will start Monday, Aug. 25.

Fans will have the opportunity to subscribe to The MIAA Network for the 2025-26 academic year with the all-access pass for $140. The league is also offering individual broadcasts for $15 and monthly access passes for $35. Beginning at noon, Tuesday, Aug. 19, through noon, Thursday, Aug. 21, the annual all-access pass will be on sale for $10 off the subscription rate.
