MARCH 2026

FROM THE PARENT PROGRAM DIRECTOR

It is hard to believe we only have a few short weeks left in the spring semester! Over spring break, 15 student teams traveled across the globe to serve others. From running medical clinics and completing engineering projects to partnering with international ministry groups, our students truly acted as the hands and feet of Jesus. What a blessing it is to see them impact the world through these meaningful service projects.

This weekend is one you won’t want to miss! Get ready for Singarama 2026: Life is a Highway. In addition to the incredible student performances throughout the weekend, the parent program will host a Singarama Family Dinner and a Parent Leadership Council Reception. You can find all the details below!

As we enter this final stretch of the semester, please encourage your students to stay focused and finish strong as they tackle end-of-semester projects and prepare for exams. If your student is facing academic challenges or could simply use some extra support, please remind them that the Coggins Academic Success Center is always here to help them succeed.

PARENT NEWS

Bison Parent Prayer Gathering image
On the first Tuesday of each month the parent program hosts a monthly prayer Zoom for our Lipscomb families. You are invited to join us April 7 as we get to know other parents, share prayer requests and praises.
Each month, a guest speaker who is a faculty member, local minister or parent, will facilitate our time together. In April, Darwin Mason will be sharing with us during our time together. He serves as the preaching minister at Hillsboro Church of Christ.
The Zoom begins at 10:55 a.m. CT. This is the same time that our students will be in “The Gathering” which is our large group chapel. What a beautiful thing it is to take a break in the day to worship and pray together. Feel free to join us on screen or by voice—we understand you may be working!
The next parent prayer Zoom is on Tuesday, April 7 at

Giving Day 2026 breaks records

Thank you to every parent, student, alumni and friend of Lipscomb who participated in the eighth annual Giving Day on Feb. 26. Giving Day surpassed its bold goal of engaging 4,200 donors by over 1,200 contributors.
Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to participate in thanking donors; campus partners came together in the Celebration Center; and the day ended with a "What a Day. What a Scholarship with Whataburger" to celebrate the accomplishments of the day.
Read more about this record breaking day on Lipscomb's website. Enjoy these highlights from the day!
