Come help sort, stock, pack food boxes and distribute them to families in The Branch of Nashville's food distribution center.
This is a great opportunity to work alongside members of the Antioch community, and for those who know a little Spanish or Arabic. Ability to lift boxes and walk throughout the shift is helpful. Great for parents and children ages 8 and up.

October 16, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. |
Family life is busy life. Let’s hit pause for a moment. How can we offer grace to ourselves, to the people we live with and love, and to people with whom we deeply disagree?
Come enjoy an evening with other parents of St. B’s children and youth to engage in conversations, interactive practices, and activities that you can take home to share with your family.

| October 16, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. |
Our St. B's Nursery Ministry is careful to employ loving caregivers, trained in Infant/Child CPR/Choking rescue practices.
We will be hosting a course on Thursday, October 17 in Wallace Hall from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. for our own certification/recertification.
This event is also open to all parishioners, friends and family members. The more people we have trained in this, the better! The cost for the course is $45 for non-certification and $85 for certification (must be renewed every two years according to American Heart Association standards).
Please RSVP to Emily Newton, St. B's Nursery and Childcare Coordinator, if you would like to attend.

Praying for all those affected by Hurricane Helene
|
God of the present moment, God who in Jesus stills the storm and soothes the frantic heart; bring hope and courage to all as we wait in uncertainty. Bring hope and peace with whatever lies ahead. Bring us courage to endure what cannot be avoided. For your will is health and wholeness; you are God, and we need you. |
