UCO Tennis Player Selected for NCAA Leadership Forum

Karyna Yurchenko, a senior on the UCO Tennis team, represented UCO at the NCAA Leadership Forum in November, joining 245 student-athletes, administrators and coaches for four days of leadership development in the Dallas area. Division I and II conference offices and Division III schools nominate select student-athletes and administrators to attend the forum, which is hosted annually.

The forum focused on helping participants deepen their understanding of core values, strengthen emotional intelligence, build personal networks and grow as leaders. Attendees also participated in a community service project supporting domestic violence survivors.

Earlier this year, Yurchenko was the recipient of the 2025 recipient of the prestigious Arthur Ashe Service Award.
