Meet our Program Management Specialist and learn about what an MS in Basic Medical Sciences degree offers you.
Who should attend? Individuals who-
• Have undergraduate degrees in pre-medical/dental/pharmacy majors (biology, chemistry, pharmacy, etc.) or
have completed pre-med/dental prerequisites
• Want to be more academically competitive for admission into professional programs in medicine, dentistry,
or pharmacy
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Would like to know their options for post-degree education.
Why?
• Program offers flexibility in curriculum with a variety of core and elective course options
• Courses serve as good preparation for completing the MCAT and transitioning into the first year of
professionalschool.
• Linkage agreement with the Medical School that guarantees an interview to qualified BMS students

We’re excited to invite you to explore Wayne State University’s Occupational Therapy Program on Tuesday, October 21st at 10:30 a.m.
Your visit will include:
- A student-led tour – hear firsthand what it’s like to be part of our OT family.
- Q&A session with Dr. Doreen Head, Program Director, and Dr. DiZazzo-Miller, Admissions Coordinator – your chance to ask questions and gain valuable insights.
- As a special bonus, you’re welcome to sit in on OT 6200: Assessment & Interventions: Neuro at 12:00 p.m. Taught by Dr. D, this dynamic class will give you a true feel for our engaging and supportive learning environment.
Directions, parking details, and meeting location will be shared with you a few days before the tour.

Podiatric medicine combines surgical training, patient relationships, and
long-term career flexibility. Don't believe it? Check it out for yourself. Shadowing will let you see what the career is all about before you make your decision. Don't worry about how to find someone we are making it easier to find a Podiatrist to shadow.

No two physicians are the same so be sure to shadow a few different DPMs to get the full understanding of what the career holds.
