Starting September 15, 2026, San Francisco’s Kindergarten to College (K2C) program is moving from Citibank to Vestwell, a banking and technology provider that brings a new online portal and easier ways to save. Your family’s K2C savings, $50 starter deposit, and any incentives already earned are safe and will carry over automatically.

KEY DATE: On September 15, 2026, your new account will be ready to log into.
|
- Your new account number will be the number 415 and your student’s SFUSD ID. You will receive a letter in September confirming this number for your records.
- The new online account portal is available in 20 languages.
