Duke Again Named Top Producer of Fulbright Scholars
The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs has recognized Duke University for having one of the highest numbers of students selected for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. Fifteen Duke students were chosen for Fulbright awards for the 2024-25 academic year, where they will teach, pursue graduate study and conduct research in 11 countries across four continents. The Fulbright Program, named after Senator William Fulbright, aims to foster international cooperation, cultural exchange and mutual understanding between the U.S. and over 140 countries worldwide.
