Dear AU Research Community,
Thank you to everyone who joined us Monday for the Huron Research Suite (HRS) project kickoff. We appreciate your time, participation, and engagement as we begin this important initiative for Augusta University.
For those who were unable to attend, a recording of the kickoff is available here:

As we move forward, this will be a collaborative effort across Augusta University. While Huron brings the technology and implementation expertise, our success will depend on how well we shape the system and future-state processes around the needs of our research community.
There is a significant amount of work ahead, and we want to make sure we are approaching it thoughtfully and collaboratively. The perspectives of faculty, researchers, research administrators, and subject-matter experts will be important as we evaluate current processes, develop future-state workflows, and configure the system. Our goal is to position HRS for long-term success at AU and to take full advantage of the opportunity to improve how research administration works across the university.
If you have questions, comments, concerns, or ideas along the way, please don't hesitate to reach out. If you would like to be more directly involved through a project working group or other engagement opportunity, please reach out to Brittany Jones at BJONES8@augusta.edu. We would be very happy to have you involved.
We will also hold regular update meetings as the project progresses, providing opportunities to share implementation updates, discuss upcoming activities, and keep the broader university community informed. We look forward to updating everyone as the work moves ahead.
Thank you again for your participation and support. We are excited about the opportunity ahead and look forward to building this together.
All the best,
Eric M. Kern, MBA
