The Lawilowan American Indian Festival takes place March 7-8 in the Grumbacher Sport and Fitness Center at York College. Experience the vibrant sounds of Native American drumming, singing, and dancing. Explore unique crafts and vendors. Savor authentic Native food as you immerse yourself in the soothing tones of Native American Flute Circles. The event also raises awareness for MMIW (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women-People). Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m., with a Grand Entry at noon both days.

The 40th Annual York Saint Patrick’s Day Parade steps off at 1 p.m. on March 14 along Market Street in downtown York City, from Penn to Duke Streets. Enjoy vibrant bagpipe bands, Irish dance troupes, dazzling floats and decorated vehicles, and an appearance by the Uptown Mummers String Band. 

Be sure to check out the parade website for info on other events happening before and after the parade. You'll want to head downtown early to snag a prime viewing spot.
