Spring Is in the Air at Stevenson
Happy spring from the Stevenson Alumni Association! Although it feels like we are still very much within winter’s grasp, there are signs of spring all across the SHS campus. Trees and plants have begun to sprout, and students have started their migration outdoors once again. The school grounds and athletic fields are bustling with activities, practices, and competitions.
Much like the change of seasons, these final months of the school year pass quickly. The days are filled with excitement and anticipation for what’s to come as students transition to the next phase of their academic career at Stevenson, and beyond. It won’t be long before a new class of SHS graduates joins our alumni community. We hope you are enjoying the change of seasons wherever this message finds you.

Film Written by Alumnus Now in Post-Production
Lionsgate Pictures recently released the film Righteous Thieves, by alumnus Michael Corcoran '97. The action thriller is Michael's screenplay debut and the realization of a dream he has worked toward for half his life. The Wisconsin-based high school teacher, coach, and father of four has been writing since he was a student at Stevenson. After seeing Good Will Hunting and learning that stars Ben Affleck and Matt Damon wrote the film, Michael was inspired to begin writing. "I didn't realize that (screenwriting) was a job you can have, that it's something people do...I was just kind of naive to that. So I started researching and learning."
