Fall FUNDraiser Begins on Monday! |
It’s “go time” for Fall FUNDraiser! If you missed our previous In a Nutshell emails, check out the Issue 1 and Issue 2. Starting on Monday, September 23, Girl Scouts can take orders and set up their online accounts. Girl Scouts can join in the sale anytime between now and October 20.

M2OS Volunteer & Girl Scout Access |
All registered Troop Leaders and Troop Fall Product Managers have been sent an email to register an account in M2OS for 2024. Check your junk mail folder in case the email landed in that location. If you have not received the registration email, contact us at girlscouts@girlscoutsrv.org or call 800-845-0787.
Girl Scouts can create their online account in M2OS and start taking orders on Go Day. Girl Scouts can access M2OS in two ways:

- Register the online account from the link received in the Parent and Adult email campaign OR

Visit gsnutsandmags.com/gsrv and follow the step-by-step instructions
|
Once their account is set up, Girl Scouts can begin selling online and will have access to tools to promote their sale. They’ll receive emails when customers place orders and weekly updates on their progress.
If a Girl Scout does not know their troop # or can’t find their name within a troop their account will be placed on hold until we can verify her Girl Scout ID number. The parent/guardian will receive an email to alert them if this occurs. They can continue to set up their online account, however, will not be able to send emails or share their online account on social media, by text, etc., until her ID number is verified. This process can take 24-48 hours or a little bit longer on weekends. The parent/guardian will receive an email when the ID number is verified, the online account will be activated, and friends and family emails will be sent out if the email addresses were entered into M2OS.

Girl Scout & Volunteer Responsibility Form in M2OS |
Troop volunteers and Girl Scouts will complete a permission form upon first login to M2OS. If a family is only planning to participate in snack order card sales, they must complete the Fall FUNDraiser Family Responsibility Form. Before completing the form, remind families of the troop number and your preferred email address. You’ll receive an email to alert of a new form submission. Didn’t receive an email? You can confirm your Girl Scout families completed the form by checking this live report. Use the password Peanut24! to access the information.

M2 Avatars & Personalized Patches |
Once Girl Scouts access M2OS, they can create a personalized avatar! It’s a super fun perk that is unique to the Fall FUNDraiser, and it‘s one of the requirements to earn both the Fall Personalized Patch and the Cookie Crossover Patch. Bonus: They can earn the Online patch just for sending out 17 emails from M2OS!

Fall FUNDraiser Patch Programs and Digital Days Sticker |
Girls Scouts have the chance to earn additional patches and a bonus reward. Share the following optional opportunities with your troop:

- Care to Share Donation Program: Girl Scouts can tell their customers about this program where snacks are donated to Second Harvest Heartland and Channel One food shelves. Donations are collected in $9 increments. Those who sell four or more donations earn a special patch.

Fall Philanthropy Program: At certain reward levels, Girl Scouts can choose to donate to benefit the animals at Pet Haven Animal Rescue through our Fall Philanthropy program. If you're interested in learning more about Pet Haven, check out this video.

Digital Days Bonus Sticker: Girl Scouts who create their avatar and send 17 emails through M2OS between September 23–30 will earn our Digital Days Vinyl sticker! Also, all Girl Scouts who participate in the Digital Days promotion will be entered into a drawing to be randomly selected to win the XXL Peanut the Asian Elephant plush!

Ways to Sell Fall FUNDraiser Items |
One of the great perks of Fall FUNDraiser are the multiple participation options, where Girl Scouts can customize how they want to sell. There’s even an option to sell totally online! Copy and paste the options below to forward to your troop:

Online magazine & more sales–Email customers through M2OS or share the unique account link on social media or by text. Customers shop online and pay by credit card. These items will ship directly to customers.

Online snack sales– Email customers through M2OS or share the unique account link on social media or by text. Customers shop and pay online. Girl Scouts can choose which customers receive the option for local snack delivery, but all will have the option to pay for shipping for delivery to their home. When customers choose to have snacks directly shipped to them, they can purchase the items listed on the order card plus shop from an expanded catalog of snacks.
- Snack order card sales– Take snack orders over the phone, video chat, text, or in-person. Record these sales on your order card and then enter the sales in M2OS.

Sell magazines to places that offer magazines in their lobbies (dentists, hairstylists, barbershops, etc.) or connect with family and friends that own a business to offer snack items for holiday gifts!

Reach out to neighbors, friends, and family in-person, by text, or phone to tell them about all items they can purchase to help support your troop. Tell them about your goals and what your troop will do with the proceeds.

As the sale begins, check in with the troops in your Community/Area to offer your support and answer their questions. Reach out to troops by email, text, Rallyhood, or social media. Share the information on the updated proceeds and the participation options, including the online-only option with no money collection or products to deliver. Provide the troops with sales materials. Remind troops they can join in the sale anytime until October 20.

Confirm Delivery Locations |
Community Product Leaders will soon receive an email that contains the delivery date and other information for you to review for your Community snack and reward deliveries. Delivery timeframes will not be available until the week before your scheduled delivery date. The volunteer who is accepting the delivery must enter and verify the location in M2OS by October 20. You’ll enter the shipping address for the girl reward shipment at the same time. Our Community-Area Quick Tips for M2OS will walk you through the process.

Juliettes will be added to M2OS with a “J” followed by their unique Juliette number. Juliettes will be sent deposit slips to use for depositing snack order card money in the Girl Scouts River Valleys Wells Fargo bank account. Your Community can score extra proceeds during the Fall FUNDraiser, and it’s easier than ever! For every Girl Scout who sends 17 emails through M2OS and sells at least one Fall item, the Community earns $2! The more who participate, the more you earn! Plus, each Girl Scout who sends those 17 emails unlocks the exclusive Online patch! Encourage troops to give it a try—there’s even an online-only option where girls can share their sales link and offer direct-ship snacks! Let’s make this fundraiser a big win! Good luck!
