Your uniform fitting is scheduled for November 11. You’ll try on and order your uniform at that time. Afterward, uniforms will be sent for embroidery, and you’ll be emailed when they’re ready for pickup, usually in January.

Tuesday, November 11, 2025
9:00 am - 5:00 pm (15-minute time slots, see email confirmation for your assigned time)
KC 2266 on the Allendale campus.

Follow the dress code below to ensure you meet program standards:

  • Scrub Top: Healing Hands Label scrub tops embroidered with "Grand Valley State University" on the front. Many students choose to order two scrub tops since it’s common to have two clinical days per week.

  • Scrub Pants: Healing Hands label black elastic-back drawstring pants. Ordering two pairs is recommended for students with multiple clinical days.

  • Scrub Jacket (Optional): Healing Hands Label jacket embroidered with "Grand Valley State University" on the front.

  • Undershirt (Optional): Long-sleeve black shirt may be worn under the scrub top (must fit tightly at the wrists).

  • Shoes: Must be gray, black, or white with minimal logo coloring, closed heel and toe, and resistant to body fluids and punctures.

On November 11, you can purchase your stethoscope from Standris. KCON requires a stethoscope to begin the program and recommends the Littmann Classic III. This stethoscope can also be purchased online.

Note: A manual blood pressure cuff is optional, and a cardiology stethoscope is not needed for the program.
