Music City News: Live entertainment company Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP) has opened a Nashville office. The 15-year-old company produces festivals, including Bourbon & Beyond and GoldenSky. The Nashville team will be led by SVP/Marketing Boone Vires, Head/Content & Creative Jake Miller and Dir./Administation Haley Baca, who are relocating from other DWP offices. Company website here. |

Christopher "Boomer" Layfield departed the cluster last fall (CAT 9/22/25). The market remains home to three Country stations: Hall's WOKO, Impact Radio's WTNN and Great Eastern's WJKS/WWFY.

A Saturday edition of the show has been added at KXPZ/Las Cruces, NM, while his afternoon program, The Rowdy Ride Home, added KKWL/Butte Falls, OR. With the latest additions, Yates’ weekday reach climbs to 70 affiliate stations. |

Best know for his work on the pop side at MCA and Island DefJam, among others, McManners intersected with country during his time as Southwest Regional at C05 Music.
