Purchase a poster commemorating the Colorado Quilt Project and support the arts!
|
|
| The Colorado Quilt Project is at NCL for the month of July.
Fifty Colorado artists painted their favorite parts of Colorado on a 10"x10" canvas, and after completion they were put together to make large 'quilt' celebrating Colorado's 150th birthday. The result is fabulous and creative, truly a collaboration, fostering connection at a time when modeling this is deeply called for. The Quilt is being displayed around the state throughout the year.

Caribou's history lives on with the remains of those buried in the Caribou Cemetery, now quiet and sadly neglected. | New photography exhibit by Caryle Calvin
Carlye Calvin spent close to 30 years as staff photographer with the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in Boulder. Now that she is retired, she enjoys the freedom of exploring photographic themes for fun, as in this exhibit, looking for faces in unexpected places like rocks, on wood, in clouds, on a doorbell, in rusty machinery, appearing in murals, and even at Mardi Gras.
