Congratulations to the Dowling Catholic 2024 Swim & Dive State Team Champions! The team totaled 12 top-eight performances and scored points in every event, finishing with 260 points to win the second state team championship in school history. Way to go Maroons! 
 
DCHS was proud to partner with LifeServe Blood Center to host a blood drive on campus  in honor of Ava Vaske, a 2021 DCHS graduate who lost her battle with cancer in 2022. We are grateful to everyone who donated or volunteered and to the Vaske family for letting us be a part of honoring Ava’s memory in this meaningful way.

Winter Play Tickets
The Performing Arts Department will present This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing on Dec. 6th at 6 pm and Dec. 7th at 2 pm. Tickets are available to purchase online. 
Wine Tasting
Enlighten your palate and experience an exclusive evening of specialty wines from Tuscany with world-renowned Italian sommelier, Claudia Callegari. The event will be held at Glen Oaks Country Club at 6:00 pm. Please RSVP here by December 1st. Proceeds will support the Student Activities Endowment.
Bash on Buffalo Ambassadors
Planning for the Bash on Buffalo Auction 2025 is underway! The Bash will be held on Saturday, April 12th, 2025. There are a variety of committees to be a part of. If you are interested in getting involved, you can chair or co-chair a committee or just sign up to help! Learn more here. Grab your friends and contact Bonnie Bronson by Nov. 22nd. Proceeds from the Bash will support the DCHS STEM Endowment.

Nonpublic Transportation Reimbursement
Families who live more than three miles one-way from DCHS may be eligible for a nonpublic transportation reimbursement. Forms must be submitted each semester (by Dec. 1 & May 1). Eligible families will receive one check following the end of the school year. Instructions are available here.

Fall Courses With Notre Dame
The University of Notre Dame’s Pre-College Online Program is the perfect way for students to explore their interests. Courses span the fields of business, law and STEM, and feature dynamic video lessons that allow them to tune in anytime their schedule allows. Students will earn a Certificate of Completion upon completion. Explore courses here. 
Northwestern Pre-College Online Program
Northwestern has launched an exciting new program for motivated high school students. The online courses feature interactive tools and a flexible structure that allows students to take multiple courses to discover a variety of academic areas of interest. They’ll be guided by mentors, and earn a certificate of completion. The courses span subjects like business and medicine. Visit their website or learn more here.

Celebrate Christmas and the Dowling Catholic community with a wonderful lunch, special guest speakers and entertainment from student musicians and vocalists.
