Cancer Health Equity Collaborative Community Mixer

Over 30 community organizations attended, which included 211 San Diego, a local non-profit community organization providing health and disaster resources, which address cancer disparities in San Diego County.

Brothers on Bikes Health Promotion Event 

COE supported this community bike ride by providing education materials on prevention and early detection and sharing community snapshots on cancer health.

This new episode, featuring Asona Lui, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor in the Division of Radiation Oncology at the UC San Diego, School of Medicine, was recorded with the assistance of seven interested students. Cancer Screening Roadmap at One Safe Place

COE hosted this special session on the use of this screening resource in collaboration with Neighborhood Healthcare. 

C4 Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month Education Session

COE displayed an inflatable colon for Colorectal Cancer Awareness month and presented to over 50 attendees on cancer development, common types of cancer, key risk factors, prevention tools, and community resources.
