As we are steadfastly preparing for the return of our students next week, I want to express my sincere appreciation to all UTA employees. You are one of UTA’s greatest strengths and the reason we continue to reach new heights of excellence. Your unrelenting commitment has been instrumental in propelling the achievements of our students, driving impactful advancements in research, and fostering positive transformations within our communities.
To recognize your valuable contributions to UTA and our success, I am pleased to inform you that we have allocated funding to provide merit raises for eligible employees who started before March 1, 2023, and are considered at least half-time employees. The increase will be effective September 1, the beginning of the new fiscal year. The Office of Talent, Culture, and Inclusion will soon be providing each division and unit management documents for the implementation of the merit process.
We have had an incredible year of progress, and I look forward to what we can accomplish together in the months ahead. Our ability to collaborate and create an impact in North Texas and beyond is what has established UTA as a national university.
