Global Week of Prayer Update
For 29 years, Nazarene Missions International has called the Church of the Nazarene to participate in the Global Week of Prayer. Each year, the week that includes the first Friday of March (designated as the World Day of Prayer), Nazarenes around the world are guided through prayer and praise items from each of the six world regions.
Global participation continues to grow each year. The focus of the Global Week of Prayer is to unite the Church in lifting up the work of missions everywhere. We pray for specific requests from each region, and we join in praise for all that God is doing on each region. Again, this year, materials were developed to also include children in the Global Week of Prayer.

These 2025 Global Week of Prayer resources are available in digital and print formats, in 20+ languages, and may be downloaded at nazarene.org/nmigwp. These resources can be used throughout the entire year to help focus prayer and praise, both individually and corporately.
In addition, there is a Countdown Video that has been prepared to help promote participation in this year’s Global Week of Prayer. For this video link, click here.

The 2025 Global Week of Prayer will take place from Sunday, 2 March through Saturday, 8 March 2025. Save these dates in your calendar and join Nazarenes everywhere in prayer and praise.
There will not be an NMI Central next week, Wednesday, 5 March, because subscribers will receive daily emails in their inbox that relate specifically to the Global Week of Prayer. We return to regular NMI Central schedule and format the following week, on 12 March.
