West Exits: Max Media/Norfolk OM Jay West, whose oversight included WGH, has departed. West was promoted from AC WVBW Brand Mgr. to cluster OM in 2024 (CAT 4/23/24). He has been in the market since 1995, joining WVBW for afternoons in 2020 and adding Brand Mgr. duties later that year. His previous stops include Buffalo, Milwaukee, Houston and Philadelphia. No word on plans for the position. In related news, WGH Dir./Production, weekend personality and 11-year station veteran Jerry Hoyt, who recently moved to middays (CAT 5/4), has also added APD duties for that station.

Razz Hands: “Razz has played a major role in the success and evolution of WXTU over the years,” says Beasley Chief Content Officer Justin Chase, commenting on the May 22 retirement of the Philadelphia station's PD/midday host Mark "Razz" Radziewicz, as reported earlier today (5/5) via Breaking News. “From his on-air presence to his leadership as PD, he has helped shape the station’s sound and culture in a meaningful way," Chase adds. "He leaves behind a strong legacy and a team that has benefited greatly from his leadership.”
Razz joined the station in 2006, rose to MD in 2010, APD/MD in 2017 (CAT 6/6/17) and PD in 2019 (Breaking News 1/7/19). Reach him here until May 22. No word on plans for the position.

Donna Tella: Former Borman VP/Touring & Communications Donna Hughes has launched Hughes Media, an artist-focused company offering interview content creation and distribution, satellite radio tours, media training and more. “With Hughes Media, my goal is to champion artists by helping them convey their authenticity, equipping them to make the most of every consumer-facing, media-driven opportunity,” she says. Hughes joined Borman in 2024 (CAT 6/14/2024) from then-UMG/Nashville, where she spent 13 years and rose to Dir./Radio Marketing. Reach her here.

Townsquare has entered into a strategic digital advertising partnership with Salt Lake City-based Broadway Media, which includes Country KNAH. Townsquare launched its media partnerships division in 2024, expanding its reach into 31 markets that don't overlap with its own stations.
Radio One WLHK/Indianapolis will temporarily re-brand as "97.1 Morgan FM" May 7, ahead of Morgan Wallen's May 8 & 9 shows at Lucas Oil Stadium. The programming will be wall-to-wall Wallen, including hits, deep cuts, fan favorites and exclusive content. WLHK will return to its regular branding after the weekend shows.
