Campus to see fiber optic network construction

Pardon our dust! OIT will oversee new fiber optic networks installed across various areas of campus to improve resilient connectivity. These installations may require sidewalk closures and other physical barriers until Sunday, Sept. 14.

Currently scheduled work paths include:

  • Engineering Research Building to Finance and Administration Annex (Watson Building)
  • Oak St. between 1st and 4th

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, contact the IT Service Desk by chat, submit a self-service ticket, or call 817-272-2208.

There are no action items for users and there will be no network interruptions. The only noticeable difference will be temporary physical construction as the fiber lines are installed.
