Sac State rises to No. 8 in the West in latest U.S. News college rankings
Driven by its significant progress in increasing graduation rates and its support for students from underrepresented backgrounds, Sacramento State has been ranked No. 8 among top West regional public universities in the latest U.S. News and World Report Best Colleges list.
The University also placed 18th overall among 114 public and private schools in the region. Last year, Sac State was ranked 16th among West public universities.
Sac State ranked 12th out of 114 top performers in social mobility – how well schools graduated economically disadvantaged students. The University also placed fourth for Campus Ethnic Diversity, with 70% minority enrollment.
