Hasta La Vista, Baby: Townsquare/Sierra Vista, AZ Chief Revenue Officer/Market Pres. Mike Fabian has been named VP/MM for Cumulus/Boise, which includes Country KIZN. He succeeds RVP/MM Don Morin, who has retired. "[Mike's] experience in leading radio clusters that serve clients with robust radio and digital solutions will complement our team in Boise well," says Pres./Operations Bob Walker. Wake And Make: Artist Mgmt founder Matt Shay joins Make Wake in the newly created GM position. Shay brings more than 30 years of music industry experience to the Nashville-based company. Prior to founding Artist Mgmt, he was Pres. of C3 Management, and previously spent a decade at the RCA Music Group, rising to SVP/A&R-Marketing and GM of the company's Black Seal imprint. He brings to Make Wake acts from his own roster, including country artists Bella McCormick and Chris Ryan.

Landman Made A Bar: This year's ACM Special Awards recipients are Bill Anderson, Brett James, C2C: Country to Country, The Carter Family, Eric Church, Kacey Musgraves, Landman, Leslie Fram, Mike Curb and attorney Scott Zolke. They will be celebrated during the Carly Pearce and Parker McCollum-hosted 19th Academy of Country Music Honors Aug. 19 at The Pinnacle in Nashville alongside previously announced Artist-Songwriter of the Year winner Ella Langley and Songwriter of the Year winner Jessie Jo Dillon, as well as ACM Studio Recording Award and Industry Award winners, who will be announced the week of July 6.
