Student-led musical group adds pride to UTA
|
The beautiful blend of violin, trumpet, guitar, bass, and flute sounds heard at many events on campus are coming from UTA’s very own Mariachi Los Jinetes. Click here to read what some of the mariachi band’s leaders and founding members have to say about what the group means to them.

Your first-place Maverick volleyball players will take on Grand Canyon University at College Park Center Thursday, Oct. 17, 6 p.m. In honor of National Pasta Day, the first 150 students to arrive at the corral (student section) can enjoy a free spaghetti dinner. | Meet MyUTA: Your Maverick life, organized
|
Launching next month, MyUTA is a new app for easily managing your day-to-day UTA experience! Users will be able to access frequently used tools, such as academic resources, UTA email, campus maps, and parking availability. MyUTA will be hosted at my.uta.edu, which will be the new way to find MyMav. There will be no changes to the MyMav login process.

Undergraduate students participating in the fall 2024 commencement ceremonies will be the first class of Mavericks to cross the stage in UTA's new signature blue gowns, which feature the UTA logo on each sleeve. The color of the doctoral and master’s regalia remains unchanged.
Graduating students are encouraged to visit the UTA Bookstore, today, Tuesday, Oct. 15, through Thursday, Oct. 17, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. or shop online for the fall 2024 Grad Finale. For more information, contact the UTA Bookstore at 817‑272‑2785 or visit Josten’s online.
