The Office of the Executive Vice President for Research is pleased to announce the upcoming AU Research Scholarship & Creative Activity Grant Program submission deadline. The current guidelines can be found in Tools for Researchers using the search term “RSCA.”
Purpose –
To provide assistance for research, scholarship and creative activities related to the arts and humanities: computational, formal, natural, or social sciences; education; cyber; and business.
RSCA grants may be used to support projects leading toward the development of a proposal for extramural sponsored funding or other research, scholarship, and creative activities for full-time faculty. Interdisciplinary research and the inclusion of students/trainees are encouraged, as appropriate.
Awards are made through a competitive process and funding is not guaranteed.

Applications will be accepted up to 5 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2026, for support in June and July 2027.
Eligibility –
All full-time AU faculty members are eligible. Part time faculty and faculty with voluntary (“clinical” or “adjunct”) appointments are ineligible.
Faculty who are receiving extramural or intramural funding from any other institutional source must demonstrate that there is no scientific or budgetary overlap with this application.
