We extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Gerald E. Harmon for his leadership and service as Interim Dean over the past three years. Through a period of tremendous growth and progress, Dr. Harmon helped strengthen the school's foundation and advance its vision for the future. We are grateful for his dedication to our students, faculty, alumni, and community, and we wish him all the best in the next chapter of his journey.

The Floyd School of Medicine Alumni Engagement team has partnered with the USC Alumni Association and Gamecock Club to host this year's Floyd School of Medicine Alumni Tailgate on Saturday, October 24, before the Gamecocks take on the Tennessee Volunteers. 

FREE FOR ALL FLOYD SCHOOL OF MEDICINE ALUMNI & FAMILIES!

Your tailgate ticket includes Floyd SOM swag, game-day food, beer and wine, a live DJ, and TVs throughout the space, plus a dedicated area for alumni, families, and friends to gather—all in Gamecock Park and just steps away from Williams-Brice Stadium.

  • This event will begin three hours prior to kickoff and conclude one hour prior to the game time. For example, with a 3:00 pm kickoff, the tailgate will be held from 12:00 - 2:00 pm.
  • Football game tickets are not included and must be purchased separately.
