Please make sure that you are attending all of your classes and showing up to them on-time and in-person. Be aware that you can be dropped from your courses for missing too many classes, which can have serious consequences for your legal status in the U.S. if you drop below full-time enrollment.
Prepare for Spring Break 2023!
Spring Break for Miami University is a few weeks away! From March 18 to March 26, there will be no classes and some university services will be closed or have shorter hours. Check the specific Miami facilities and services websites for schedule details. Please note the following:
If you plan on traveling outside of Oxford, Hamilton, or Middletown during the Spring Break, arrange accordingly for your residence hall or off-campus residence (turn off electronics, secure doors and windows, arrange pet care, etc.).
If you plan on traveling outside of the U.S. during Spring Break, make sure your required documents and travel signature are up to date.
Residence halls close at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023 and will reopen at 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2023.
Many students choose to leave campus during Spring Break, but students who need to stay after closing should complete a Break Housing Request Form, which can be found through on-campus housing portal.
