Nominations are now open for the Student Impact and Advocacy Leadership Awards, formerly known as the Student Social Justice and Diversity Healthcare Leadership Award. The awards honor students whose actions demonstrate impact and advocacy at UTHSC and our community, in support of the UTHSC Strategic Plan. Nominations close Friday, September 29.

You are invited to a community panel about rural health Thursday, September 14, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm, in GEB A203 or on Zoom. Attendees will learn about the issues residents of Lauderdale County face in accessing health care. Lunch will be provided for those who RSVP.

Three finalists for UTHSC’s vice chancellor for Research position will visit campus in the coming weeks. The first candidate visit is Monday, September 11. You are invited to attend the candidate’s presentation from 2:00 – 3:00 pm in Freeman Auditorium or via Zoom.
