Remember, timed reservations are required for Members Friday–Sunday from 3 pm to close through October 26. Reservations are not required for Gardens Premium Members and Innovators.

Step into a relaxed yet equally refined setting at the 1906 bar and lounge where garden-inspired creativity comes to life in unexpected ways. This inviting space offers dishes that are bold, expressive, and entirely unique to this space.
While you're there, enjoy an extensive selection of fine wines, craft cocktails, house-made tonics, and garden-forward non-alcoholic beverages.
Walk-ins are welcome and reservations are not accepted for the 1906 bar and lounge. Please check in with our hosts for same-day seating.

On Thursday August 7, bring a blanket or chair and soak up a family friendly evening with Members-only Hours.
At 6 pm, enjoy a lively performance by Best Children’s Music Album Grammy nominee Divinity Roxx on the Orchard stage. Then, at 7:30pm, head over to the Main Fountain Garden for a 30-minute early evening Illuminated Fountain Performance that begins with white lights and transitions to colored light as the sun sets.
This event is free for Members and Innovators. Reservations are not required. Guests are welcome but must be accompanied by a Member or Innovator. Guests not included in a Membership require Admission tickets. Complimentary Guest Tickets may be used on these evenings. Please note: The Orchard does not have chairs or benches. Chairs or blankets may be set up in the Orchard beginning at 5 pm.

We’re pleased to welcome outside researchers and Longwood Members and Innovators to use our botanical and horticultural library collections for onsite research. Access is available by appointment only.
Appointments must be requested at least one week in advance and are generally available from 10 am to 4 pm on all weekdays except Tuesdays and major holidays. Please note that the library is intended specifically for those using our collections, not as a general workspace or lounge area.

eBook Access for Members and Innovators

Access our collection of thousands of ebooks, accessible from anywhere! Our collection focuses on subject areas of horticulture, botany, garden design, botanical illustration, garden and landscape design, natural history, and wildlife. All you need to log in is your Membership number found on the back of your Membership card. After you’ve logged in, you can download books to your device or read them online. Both adult and children’s titles are available.

Fireworks and Fountains Shows Closures |
The Gardens, indoors and out, will close at 6 pm on August 9, August 31, September 13, and September 27, to everyone but Fireworks & Fountains Show ticketholders. Last entry for Members, Innovators, and ticket buyers without Fireworks & Fountains Show tickets is 2:30 pm. Tickets are still available for our August 31 Reimagined Remixes, September 13 Evening Masquerade, and September 27 Everybody Dance Now Fireworks & Fountains Shows.
