Registration is open for summer and fall. Log in to MyUTA to make sure you have confirmed summer and fall courses with your advisor, cleared any registration-preventing holds, and checked for your date to begin enrolling.

As part of the Maverick Speakers Series, musician, actor, and author Ice-T will share his story of resilience and success in his lecture “Overcoming Adversity: From Streets to Stardom” on Wednesday, April 16, at 7:30 p.m. in Texas Hall. The Maverick community is invited to the inaugural Fallen Maverick ceremony Friday, April 11, 5-7 p.m. in Texas Hall. The program will include a speech from UTA President Jennifer Cowley, a presentation of colors from UTA's ROTC, and a roll call of remembrance. Let’s come together to remember, reflect, and honor the legacy of students, faculty, and staff who have passed away.

The Honors Research Symposium, held Friday, April 11, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., showcases the hard work of our Honors students. The free event, open to students, faculty, staff, and the larger community, will be held in the Rio Grande Ballroom of the University Center.

The Office of Sustainability is celebrating Earth Month with events during April. The first event is a pop-up thrift shop on Wednesday, April 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Brazos Park. More events and details can be found on the UTA Events Calendar.
