Missionary Journey - Carlos Salazar

“I see God moving every day, even in the smallest details.”

These are the words of Nazarene Missionary Carlos Salazar, communications coordinator for the Mesoamerica Region. Through communications and media, he and his team seek to inform, inspire, engage, and equip the church.

The communications team produces resources, provides training, and supports initiatives across the 33 countries of Mesoamerica to help the church stay connected and continue fulfilling the mission of making Christlike disciples in the nations.

Carlos and his family live and serve in Costa Rica. Carlos enjoys “continuing to tell the story of Jesus—the same story that once transformed my life. Knowing that, through what we do, others can encounter Jesus and come to know Him is one of the greatest joys of serving.”

“In a special way, I have seen how He always provides what we need to continue fulfilling the mission, opening doors and supplying the necessary resources in one way or another,” Carlos shares. “That is why we serve with gratitude and confidence, knowing that He is always present and walks with us.”
